Method 1: Using the WordPress Theme Directory

  1. Log into your WordPress Dashboard.
  2. Go to Appearance → Themes.
  3. Click Add New.
  4. Browse or search for a theme, or use Feature Filter to refine results.
  5. Hover over your chosen theme and click Install.
  6. After installation, click Activate to apply it.

Method 2: Uploading a Theme ZIP File

  1. Download the theme’s .zip file from its source.
  2. In WordPress, go to Appearance → Themes.
  3. Click Add New, then Upload Theme.
  4. Click Choose File, select the ZIP file, and click Install Now.
  5. When installation completes, click Activate.

Method 3: Installing via FTP

  1. Download and unzip the theme file on your computer.
  2. Connect to your hosting account using an FTP client like FileZilla.
  3. Navigate to /wp-content/themes/ on your server.
  4. Upload the unzipped theme folder into this directory.
  5. In WordPress, go to Appearance → Themes and click Activate on the uploaded theme.
